About the Artist — Renée Mascari

A career spent in the creative industry has shaped Renée Mascari’s lifelong passion for design, architecture and art.

Growing up in Africa surrounded by striking sunsets, vibrant Ndebele painted houses and regular safaris, Renée developed an early love of wildlife, colour and texture — influences that continue to run through her work today.

Working predominantly in contemporary abstract art, Renée creates expressive, layered pieces inspired by both her heritage and her fascination with urban and industrial environments. Bold colour palettes, organic forms and rich textures combine to create artwork designed to spark emotion, conversation and connection.

Renée lectures in Interior and Kitchen Design and has spent several years judging design awards, developing a strong appreciation for the role art plays in shaping the spaces we live and work in — and the positive impact it can have on wellbeing.

Speaking about her creative process, Renée says:

“I love nothing more than putting on a great playlist, setting up a new canvas and creating something that hopefully will reflect my love of architecture, design, colour and texture.”

Previously part of the Buckingham Fine Art portfolio and exhibiting in galleries across the UK including Aura Fine Art Nottingham, Renée now works independently, creating original collections, solo exhibitions and commissioned pieces.

All original artworks are signed and dated, with larger pieces accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity.
